Here we are after being coached by the 2008 Sweet Adelines International Champions “The Four Bettys” who had flown over from the USA for a LABBS education Weekend in Kettering, in March 2010.

Prior to forming Man Overboard, Kate, Alison and Carol were joined by Vickie to comprise Overboard, who achieved 7th place in the national quartet competition in Cheltenham in October 2009, and were delighted to have been awarded the ‘Tapestry Trophy’ for the most improved quartet.

I met a member of Norwich Harmony at Sprowston Manor Hotel a few weeks’ ago and she told me about your 40th anniversary next year and I suggested that Norwich Playhouse may be a possible venue. I’m involved with the theatre based in St George’s Street. I said I would help with sponsorship if needed. I also have a good connection with BBC Radio Norfolk and may be able to get you an hour’s feature on Matthew Gudgin’s Drive Time programme broadcast on air from Monday to Friday but the feature would go out ‘live’ on a Wednesday. Cheers and best wishes! Tony Cooper
